Hunza people also known as hunzas are a small population that lives in the northern part of India. They are known as the healthiest and the longest-living people on Earth, but most important as the only population that is cancer free.
They bath in cold water and give birth to babies even at the age of 65. They do not consume imported foods and they grow and harvest their own food. Hunzas most often consume raw fruits and vegetables, dried apricots, nuts, different cereals like buckwheat, millet and barley, milk, eggs, legumes and rarely cheese and they never eat snacks. They eat very little and walk all day long.
There is a tradition between the Hunzas when they do not eat anything for a period of two to four months and they only drink juice from dried apricot for that period. Apricots seeds contain vitamin B-17 compound, which is known and powerful anti-cancer agent. Medical experts are saying that this fasting period and their diet is crucial to why they live that long and have a healthy life.
Some rumors say that some Hunza people lived up to 150 years because of their healthy lifestyle and diets.
